Mark Westphal has been a dedicated neon artist involved with Ion Art for over 20 years. He is a much beloved member of our creative team and the heart of the family we have built over the years. Unfortunately, he has recently been diagnosed with cancer.

On Saturday, June 4th, Ion Art will be hosting a huge benefit event and open house. All proceeds will go to Mark’s medical bills and recovery expenses in order to help him fi ght this disease. The event will include an open house of our studio/shop, an art show featuring art by Ion Art artisans as well as other local artists, a raffle of donated goods and services, musical performances, and more. Food and drink vendors such as The Best Wurst, Stony’s Pizza and Polkadots Cupcakes will be providing their their food and drinks as well as our neighbor (512) Brewing Co.'s latest beer release. Suggested donation of $20, sliding scale entry fee at door. This includes two free drinks and a raffle ticket.
